The Malaga Film Festival, a celebration of both Spanish and Latin American cinema

• 9 Spanish films and 8 Latin American films compete for the Golden Biznaga Award.
• Amar, Esteban Crespo's feature debut will compete in the Malaga festival.
• The 20th edition of the competition will be held from 17 to 26 March.

Spanish and Latin American cinema will both feature, almost in equal parts -9 Spanish productions and 8 from the other side of the Atlantic- in the 20th Malaga Film Festival. It is the first year that the competition includes Spanish-language films other than those from Spain, as stated this Wednesday by Juan Antonio Vigar, the director of the competition that will be held from 17 to 26 March.
