The RTVE Showcase returns with its latest content line-up
- Television executives from more than 30 countries together with the creators and protagonists of RTVE’s new series attend the 5th Showcase of the Corporation
Directors of content and acquisitions from the international audiovisual market got to know RTVE's latest news and fiction projects at the fifth edition of its Showcase, held from 8 to 10 May at the Hotel Puerta de América in Madrid under the slogan The content you want, which included round table discussions with showrunners, directors, actors, producers and programmers. In parallel, a private viewing room was set up with more than 500 hours of programmes at the service of the participating buyers. The event was inaugurated by the acting president of RTVE, Concepción Cascajosa.
The objectives of the RTVE Showcase are to show in an entertaining way what the Corporation produces and where it is heading in a global audiovisual world, to increase international sales of its products, to boost its image abroad as a driving force for the Spanish audiovisual industry, and to strengthen links with the main players in the international scene.
