The storm leads to more than 600 incidents in Andalusia
More than 600 incidents have been recorded in Andalusia in the last few hours due to rain and particularly due to wind, which has reached gusts of up to 100 km per hour in many places, causing downed trees and fences, and overturned bins. Several flights have been cancelled, while sea connections, which had been put on hold because of the storm, have already been resumed with Ceuta and Tangiers.

Malaga has been particularly badly hit by the wind, with gusts reaching 98 kilometres per hour, resulting in falling trees in several parts of the city. A woman was hospitalised, having been hit by a falling branch.
Seville has seen 90 km/h winds, with uprooted trees in the San Pablo Sports Centre. In Cadiz, where the wind hit with greatest intensity, the storm has led to classes being cancelled at a Vejer school. In Cordoba, the wind has left similar damage in its wake, with fallen trees and branches. In Granada, the storm has led to the closure of the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort. The storm has, however, now abated in most of the Autonomous Community. The orange alert was called off at midday.
