The Sevillian local police are setting out stolen bicycles in the hope that their owners will come and claim them

In a province capital, over 50 bikes could be stolen in a single day. In Seville, the police put the bikes on display in a storeroom so their owners can identify them. Some cost more than two thousand euros.

The Local Police¿s storeroom in Seville has over 100 stolen bicycles waiting for their owners to come and claim them. Today we¿ve seen several trying to identify them. And there are stolen bikes of all prices. From 100 euros to over 2,000 euros.

To claim a bike, it¿s mandatory to bring the police report, the invoice, and a photo, if one was taken while the bike was still being used. Many end up in the markets. According to the police, in a province capital over 50 could be stolen per day. Especially ever since the bike lanes were put in.
