At 7:00, the sun comes up in the village of El Rocío. Everything is calm in front of the small church, but the picture is very different from just 500 meters away. It¿s difficult to avoid using the words ¿tradition¿, ¿fervour¿ and ¿excitement¿ in a report about the procession to carry Our Lady of El Rocío on Pentecost Monday.

The excitement began at 3:29 in the morning. The Almonte Brotherhood's insignia was placed before the Virgin, and thus began the procession.

Ten hours in the street to visit 119 confraternities who travelled to the village; some have already started on their way back, and others are taking advantage of the last few hours left.
