The Unicaja analysts¿ forecast is that the economy in Andalusia will slow down this year. The biggest increases in economic activity are going to be registered in Almeria, Cadiz and Malaga thanks, in good part, to exports and tourism.

The increase of expenditure for homes and exports, and the growth of the agro-food and service sectors boosted the Andalusian economy in 2016. 2017 will not be the same.

Among these uncertainties are the rise in oil prices, the behaviour of the British tourist market after the implementation of Brexit and global geopolitical challenges... factors that can alter the direction of the economy.

And the good news is that economic activity is on the rise in Almeria, Cadiz and Malaga, and if the current rate of job creation continues. . . the unemployment rate will go down 7.2%.
