Málaga to open new Metropolitan stadium for the first time
Málaga will open the new Wanda Metropolitan stadium for the first time for their match against Atlético de Madrid on the fourth day of the League
The Málaga - Atlético Madrid match will be one to remember. It will go down in history as the blue and whites will be playing in the spanking new Atlético Madrid stadium, the Wanda Metropolitano, with a capacity for 68,000 spectators. It could be said that both the Atletics and the Malagans are going to play this game as visitors, as the stadium will be new for the two. Michel's team aims to spoil the show for Simeone¿s, seizing the opportunity to gain points. No-one wants a 'nil', and especially not after being defeated at home against Las Palmas.
It will also be a game to remember for three Malagan players coming from the red and whites: Roberto, Borja Cane, and Keko. That being said, the eyes will be on Diego Rólan and Esteban Rolón, who have still not played, and who are sure to turn the tables.
Málaga will not only be in Madrid; about 200 blue and white fans will be at the Wanda stadium supporting their team.
