In Pizarra, Málaga, a security camera was able to capture little Lucía on the night of her disappearance. The recorded images show a shadow near the railways.

The security camera, situated in an electric power plant that services the station in Pizarra, captured the last images of Lucía. In that recording, a small shadow is seen walking alone on the tracks, towards the spot where her body was found.

This would substantiate the main hypothesis being considered in the investigation. The girl was confused, wandered along the tracks for several hours before falling asleep next to them, and was hit by the train here, where the train driver found her, just over three kilometres from town.

And although the preliminary data from the autopsy would support this theory, investigators are asking for patience until they have the results of the toxicological analyses that are being carried out in Seville. These tests will determine the time of Lucía¿s death and will clarify if somebody may have given her a product that would allow them to take her against her will.

A week after the death of the small child, many residents of Pizarra still cannot believe that Lucía could cover three kilometres during the night and along these tracks that are covered in stones and other objects. And more still, crossing bridges such as this one, which adds considerable difficulty to the journey.
