El 70 por ciento de los jóvenes estudiantes andaluces de Bachillerato ve su futuro en el extranjero.

This data was just published by Fundación AXA after interviewing 13 million young people between 16 and 19 years old in Spain, with 1,200 from Andalusia.

The study contrasts with the one that the foundation carried out last year among university students. Those students aspired to work in public service, which is an option that only 32% of Secondary School, Bachillerato and Professional Training students contemplate. Even fewer contemplated this option in Andalusia, with only one out of every 4. The majority would prefer to work in a multinational company, and 14% want to create their own company, which is 2 points above the national average. The degrees they're choosing are, above all, traditional degrees¿and in Andalusia, Law or Medicine. And few take new technology into account.

When asked who they would like to resemble . . . Young Andalusians agreed with the majority of Spanish students: the businessman Amancio Ortega.
