TVE successfully presents the series Carlos King Emperor and Six Sisters at MIPCOM and expands its horizons with the distribution of its international channels in new African countries

Carlos King Emperor and Six Sisters were magnificently received at MIPCOM in Cannes.

Agreements have been reached to launch TVE Internacional, 24 Horas and MIS in several African countries.

At the closure of MIPCOM, Televisión Española received international recognition for TV series such as Carlos King Emperor and Six Sisters.

Different operators in Colombia, Venezuela and Mexico have shown great interest in these series, as well as various countries in Europe. Televisión Española is reaching agreements to broadcast the series Six Sisters in Italy in the wake of the success of Acacias 38, a series that is achieving high audience ratings.

As for the sale of international channels, the Corporation has reached an agreement to launch TVE Internacional, Canal 24 Horas and the film and series channel MIS, in several African countries: Guinea, Cameroon and Chad. Furthermore, in Morocco, Canal 24 Horas joins Maroc Telecom.

RTVE’s new HD cannel, Star HD, has been well received by some pay TV operators in the Americas. Its content includes the best series, films and entertainment shows from TVE. It is currently undergoing broadcasting tests through the Galaxy 23 and Hispasat 1E satellites.

In addition, discussions are underway for the incorporation of TVE Internacional, Canal 24 Horas and MIS into new platforms in the UK, Belgium, France, Germany, Malta and Greece.
