The mayor of La Laguna has removed Zebenzuí González from his duties as a response to the sexist messages he sent mistake via WhatsApp. The opposition demands that stronger measures such as the councillor's resignation. Something that may jeopardise the stability at the town hall. In this afternoon's plenary session, the opposition presented a motion to the town council in which they also request the escalation of the case to the Prosecutor's Office. Meanwhile, the town councillor has ensured that he has no intention of resigning.
