A child has died of electrocution in Firgas
A child under the age of 15 has died after being electrocuted in Firgas, Gran Canaria. The child climbed up an electricity pylon to jump in to a pond where some friends were swimming, and suffered an electrical shock that ultimately took his life. The tower did not have a danger warning. The town has decreed 3 days of mourning.
