Two suspects under arrest for their supposed involvement in the Badajoz fatal shooting
The investigation on the shooting that occurred this Sunday in the district of Cerro de Reyes in Badajoz, which saw a 55-year-old victim shot dead in full daylight, is still ongoing and more arrests may be made.

Two men, 36 and 25, have been arrested in Badajoz due to their possible involvement in the shooting this Sunday on Federico García Lorca street in Badajoz, in the Cerro de Reyes neighbourhood. The incident saw a 55-year-old victim shot dead in full daylight.
Both people under arrest have criminal records for various reasons and could be called to a court ruling within the next few hours. More arrests may be made, as the investigation is still in progress and the Forensic Network has come to the area to examine the scene.
According to police sources, the victim was shot several times by a firearm. The autopsy being currently being carried out will verify if this is the case. It is also rumoured that changes in accounts between different family members may be a possible cause for the event, with another shooting occurring in the same neighbourhood the day before.
