What is STAR HD?

It is the new RTVE channel in High Definition (HD) for the American continent. It was born with the idea of broadcasting quality fiction and entertainment content, aimed at a family audience, and that constitute an open look at Spain and the world. The channel already has more than 2.5 million viewers in more than 20 countries.

Channel differentiated from TVE Internacional by basing its content on the best fiction (80% Star vs. 9% TVE).

Star HD programming includes the series that have obtained the best audience results in Spain, as well as awards in various international competitions. Fictions such as 'Isabel', whose broadcasting rights have been acquired by broadcasters in some ninety countries; 'Lady'; 'Vintage'; 'Mom detective'; and, of course, emblematic series such as 'Remember when...', which offers a vision of the history of Spain since the sixties; 'Águila Roja', which has achieved excellent ratings in all its seasons; or 'The Department of Time', which has achieved a very high impact on social networks, creating an incredible group of followers.
