Pocoyó

Nicolas Jackson discovers the secrets of international animated superstar Pocoyó, the small blue boy who, together with his friends Pato the duck and Ellie the elephant, has captured the hearts and the imaginations of young children all over the world. The TV series Pocoyó is viewed in 120 countries but despite it's international renown, remains very much a Spanish production. Madrid-based producers Zinkia explain the history of the programme and we talk to students and teachers at a Madrid language school where Pocoyó and his friends paid a recent visit.
