Last Friday marked the 25th anniversary of the attacks of 11 September 2001. This tragic event radically transformed global airport security and US foreign policy and marked the beginning of the so-called ‘war on terror’. To talk about what happened that day, we interview Mónica Dixon, a Hispanic-American painter living in Oviedo who happened to be in New York on those days.
