Monika Kuszyńska representa a Polonia en Eurovisión 2015 con el tema "In The Name Of Love" (En nombre del amor). La televisión polaca TVP ha elegido de forma interna a Monika, que participará en la segunda semifinal, el 21 de mayo.

La música, como superación

Monika Kuszyńska es una cantante muy popular en Polonia. En el pasado, fue la líder del grupo de pop Varius Manx. En 2006, sufrió un accidente de coche que la provocó una parálisis parcial. Entonces, Monika no se vino abajo ni abandonó su pasión: la música. Al contrario. Decidió cantar al amor y a la tolerancia. Con esta apuesta, la TVP pretenden sumarse al lema del Festival, Building Bridges (Construyendo puentes). En su caso, con “un puente de tolerancia”.

"A través de mis esfuerzos artísticos, trato de unir dos mundos que hasta hacía poco parecía imposible combinar: el de la gente con y sin discapacidades. Un puente de entendimiento entre ambos los hace más fuertes. Creo que algún día, las fronteras que separan los mundos desaparecerán", ha dicho la cantante. En este sentido, Monika ha aplaudido el lema del Festival. “Es una idea perfecta. El contexto de la frase me inspiró para escribir "In The Name Of Love" porque, en el nombre del amor, estamos capacitados para superar cualquier barrera, ¿o no?”, se pregunta la representante polaca.
