A teacher at the San Sebastián de Albaida del Aljarafe primary school, in Seville, has been shortlisted for the "Global Teacher 2018" prize, often considered the Nobel prize of the Education world. Xuxo is known for using magic tricks as educational tools in his classes. The competition has seen over 40,000 teachers from 173 countries participate. The award - a prize of $1 million - will be granted by the Varkey Foundation, an institution that rewards inspiring learning. The winner will be announced in Dubai on Sunday, 18 March 2018 .
