A girl who recovered from cancer in Malaga doesn¿t get a place in her closest school
Ángela is 13 years old and is used to visiting doctors, nurses and hospitals. She seems fragile, but her fight against cancer has made her strong and brave. She has overcome 7 months of anxiety, fear, and chemotherapy. Now, all she wants is to lead a normal life and go back to the same school that her sister goes to, a few metres away from her home. But she hasn¿t been given a place. Her parent¿s are therefore asking the Regional Government of Andalusia to make an exception.
The Board of Education has offered the family 6 other centres, but according to the mother, it¿s difficult for Angela to get to them. Lower back pain and chronic exhaustion make it complicated.
Her parents have filed a lawsuit and are waiting for the judicial ruling. Meanwhile, Ángela is receiving private lessons and is dreaming about going to school with her sister soon.
