A lightning strike injures three people in Huelva with the onset of the rainy season
The storm that hit Huelva on Tuesday has left three people injured by lightning. The province, along with Seville and Cádiz, is now under yellow alert due to the intense rainfall.

Hospital sources have reported that a 25-year-old man has been admitted to ICU where his condition is said to be ¿extremely critical¿. With regard to the other two injured in the storm, one has been discharged from hospital and the other¿s discharge is expected to follow in the next few hours.
The heavy rainfall that lashed the city of Huelva between nine and eleven o¿clock in the morning has led to 20 incidents being recorded due to the flooding of streets, establishments and garages. The sewer network was unable to evacuate the 36 litres of water that fell in just two hours. The rain has also left around 2,500 people without electricity. Many traffic lights in the centre stopped working, triggering traffic chaos.
