The pianist David Peña Dorantes looks back on his 20-year career with 'El tiempo por testigo¿, his fifth album; a journey that started with the well-known album "Orobroy", and is now highlighted with this new album. A an album which gathers new tracks with hits from his past musical productions. He presented it in Seville , at the gala of World Tourism Day and will perform it live during a tour in several European countries in the coming months¿

We hear him on the piano, playing with drumsticks, changing the loop pedal or marking the rhythm with a typewriter. The piano is his world, his field of play. A territory open to his curiosity. "For me it s a game, admits Dorantes. It is my favourite toy. I play with it and enjoy it, without limits, borders, nothing; I enjoy it very much, and well, of course I try to make good music". 20 years ago Orobroy captivated us all... Dorantes now celebrates it with 'El tiempo por testigo¿, his new album. An album where new songs come together with hits from his earlier albums. Today, this music is universal, but by no means does it leave behind his flamenco roots. However, he says, the palette of colours is broad and his will to keep playing remains unchanged...
