Miura bulls, the finishing touch to the Seville Fair

The Seville Fair ended in the Maestranza bullring with a final count of 15 awarded ears, six returns to the ring and some ¿controversial¿ presidential decisions... This Sunday¿s epilogue belonged to the classic Miuras and a one hundred percent Sevillian line-up.

The Miuras closed the bullfighting fair on an afternoon that saw a close call for Esaú Fernández who was caught by his bull, although it was confirmed that he suffered no major injuries.

Fernández and Antonio Nazaré put in worthy performances yet the star of the afternoon was Pepe Moral, who made best use of his set. He was awarded an ear and carried out of the ring on the shoulders of his team.

Pepe Moral went down on this year¿s hall of fame, although the last days of the fair saw two other successes. On Friday, Roca Rey became in the only bullfighter to cut two ears from a bull in one round. But for many fans, this year¿s sensation was Antonio Ferrera who dazzled the audience on Saturday with a different type of bull from El Pilar.
