Santa Cruz de Tenerife prepares its flower crosses
31 neighbourhood crosses will compete in the May festivals

This year, residents' associations and schools are creating 31 flower crosses. They will be competing, but according to them, maintaining the tradition is what matters most. Some started creating their designs this morning. Tomorrow all those crosses will adorn the streets, but tonight, Santa Cruz hosts another important event: the "baile de magos".
