The former mayor of Santa Cruz de Tenerife condemned to seven years in prison

The former mayor of Santa Cruz de Tenerife Miguel Zerolo, from the Canarian Coalition party, has been condemned to seven years in prison as a result of the Las Teresitas case¿an embezzlement operation in which the Las Teresitas beach front was sold to the businessmen Antonio Plasencia and Ignacio González, who are condemned to five years each.
