Aritz Egea wins the seventh mountain race through the Garganta de los Infiernos (Throat of Hell)
The Basque athlete finished ahead of Ibán Letamendi by more than thirteen minutes in the Jerte challenge, among 188 runners that finished this 27 kilometre test, which was marked by high temperatures.

Aritz Egea, from Guipuzkoa, wins the seventh edition of the race through the Garganta de los Infiernos mountain, a 27 kilometre test in which 270 athletes registered. Egea finished the race in Jerte with a time of 2:16:44, a new race record, and ahead of Ibán Letamendi, also from Guipuzkoa and Chus Bermejo, from Tornavacas.
