Expo 92 celebrates its silver anniversary. 20 April marks 25 years since its inauguration. Seville City Council is preparing to mark the anniversary with a programme of events, which will begin on the same day the doors opened to the Universal Exposition of Seville. There will be open days at some of the pavilions, and the Navigation Pavilion will host en exhibition paying tribute to those who created and experienced the Expo. The City Council will invest a million euros to "spruce up" the La Cartuja complex, today the headquarters of a Science and Technology Park.
