New victim of violence against women in the Canary Islands
The corpse of a woman found in a house in La Laguna showed signs of violence. Everything points to a case of violence against women, the second in less than a week.

The National Police have arrested the partner of the woman who was found dead inside a house in La Laguna. The police had been searching for him since it was discovered that the house fire had not caused the death of María Victoria. The couple had been in a stable relationship for a number of years. No prior cases of abuse were ever reported. This could be the second case of violence against women in less than one week in the Canary Islands.
