The University of Extremadura to offer Journalism degree from 2018 onwards in Badajoz
The Government Council of the UEx approves the inclusion of the Bachelor's Degree in Journalism at the Faculty of Documentation and Audio-Visual Communication Sciences in Badajoz, from the 2018-2019 academic year onwards, and the double Degree in Criminology and Law in Cáceres from the next academic year onwards.
NUEVAS TITULACIONES

With 29 votes in favour, four abstentions and none against, the Government Council of the University of Extremadura has approved the inclusion of the two new degrees as a response to the demand: since, according to the UEx, between 70 and 80 pupils go to other regions of Spain to study.
Criminology and Law is expected to be available from 2017 onwards in Cáceres, and the degree in Administration and Public Management will be taken off the curriculum due to its high drop-out rate. The new degrees have still to be approved by the Socio-Economic Council, the National Agency of Evaluation and Quality (Aneca) and the Board of Extremadura.
