Subsidies to recover almost 20.000 day's wages lost by the floodings in July now available
The Board of Extremadura has allocated one million euros to fund these subsidies to generate 15.927 day's wages and thus mitigate the loss of wages in the province of Badajoz during the July 2016 floodings. The subsidies can already be requested by the town councils of the municipalities.

The town councils that were affected by the floodings last July can already request subsidies for the almost 20.000 day's wages that were lost, with a total of one million euros of subsidies available. The Government Board of Extremadura approved the subsidies this Tuesday.
Another agreement reached during the Executive Fernández Vara's last meeting is a Decree on Subsidies for improving the regional tourism sector. With a budget of two and a half million euros, it will see the modernisation of facilities and provide access to new technologies.
