Susana Díaz sends out invitations for the announcement of her candidacy at Ifema
"I invite you to accompany me at the announcement of my candidacy for Secretary General of PSOE. It will be held in Madrid, on Sunday, 26 March at 11.30 am in Pavilion 1 of IFEMA, Feria de Madrid. Avda. Partenón, 5," says the invitation, which is signed by Susana Díaz herself.
According to sources, the leader of the Andalusian socialists has sent invitations to all the "important" people and "models" from PSOE, including the ex-secretary generals, Joaquín Almunia, Felipe González, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero and Alfredo Pérez Rubalcaba, as well as former vice-president, Alfonso Guerra, and the presidents of the autonomous communities.
Only Almunia has ruled out his attendance, whereas Guerra has not yet answered and González and Rubalcaba "are thinking it over", affirm sources close to the men. As for the party¿s 'barons', Díaz¿s entourage assures that all those who support her will attend, except for some due to schedule conflicts.
