The finalists in the Francisco de Zurbarán painting competition go on show in Badajoz
Most of the 22 paintings are from Extremadura and Andalusia, and offer an overview of the current art scene in these regions.

The exhibition includes the winning painting, titled 'Silence, the world is collapsing'. It is by the Badajoz artist Verónica Bueno. Together with Abel Vellarino and Lázaro de Jorge Amaya, these three artists from Extremadura are among the standouts in the second year of the competition.
The exhibition can be seen in the Vaquero Poblador hall, in the Regional Government of Badajoz.
