Price increases in January are more marked for people in Extremadura
2017 saw an increase of between 3 and 4% for fuel, gas and butane. Telephone bills, the price of tobacco and sugary drinks have also increased.

2016 ended with a recovery of 1.5% of the year-on-year price rate and 2017 began with an increase of basic services such as gas or fuel of between 3 and 4%. The telephone bill, price of tobacco, alcohol and sugary drinks have also seen an increase.
For the Unión de Consumidores de Extremadura (Consumers Union of Extremadura), these increases will noticeably affect consumers in the region, who have lower salaries than average in Spain.
