The president of the Gran Canaria Island Council has presented the Poema del Mar aquarium at the World Travel Market in London, which will open its doors next summer.

The president of the Gran Canaria Island Council has presented the Poema del Mar aquarium at the World Travel Market in London.
The aquarium will boast more than 12,000 square metres, recreating a natural habitat with more than 350 species. Besides from marine and freshwater species it will also include mountains and vegetation.
The great Aquarium, whose work is already well underway, will open its doors next summer, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
