The recent arrest of Joaquín "el Chapo" Guzmán Loera, Mexico's most powerful drug baron, comes just six months after his second, spectacular prison break. The head of the Sinaloa drugs cartel, responsible for the bulk of narcotics entering the United States and Europe, had been communicating with a sympathetic actress, and it is thought vanity brought El Chapo down. He wanted to make his own movie about his life, and the actress helped bring him producers from Hollywood. Today's program also features an interview with American author Don Winslow, winner of Spain's RBW international crime fiction award for his 2015 novel "The Cartel."
