El 38º Euroradio Folk Festival de 2017 se celebró en la ciudad checa de Çesky Krumlov, organizado por la Çesky Rohzlas o Radio Nacional de la República Checa. Este evento, itinerante, lo acoge cada año una emisora pública europea. En 2017 se celebró entre el 19 y el 22 de julio. Cada emisora pública europea envía un representante. En total fueron 21 conciertos de los que en una primera tanda llevamos diez,y paramos.

The VALDAY Quintet is part of the Russian State TV and Radio Music Centre and Radio Orpheus. Founded in 2006, the ensemble is headed by the international prize-winning accordionist Andrei Shelyganov. VALDAY is a modern ensemble representing traditional Russian folk culture.
All the members are highly talented professional musicians demonstrating superb performing skills. They are in constant search of new ways of interpreting folk music. Their varied and demanding programmes include pieces ranging from the traditional Russian folk repertory to modern pop compositions. Their unconventional arrangements often come as real discoveries both for specialists and the audience. VALDAY has performed and won awards at music competitions and festivals both in Russia and abroad.
