The first section of the Ronda Sureste in Cáceres will begin at the roundabout where the Ronda Norte (North Bypass) finishes, will circle the city to the east, and will end in a traffic circle at the EX206 exit towards Miajadas. It will cost almost 33 and a half million euros and will have to be finished in 2020. It will be a 3,800 meter long section comprising two lanes of 7 meters each. The Minister of Infrastructure says that the project will help free traffic congestion in the central and southern parts of Cáceres, reduce traffic jams inside the city and prevent noise and pollution. The government has also approved house care benefits for dependant persons.
