The Local Police Coordination Bill begins its first parliamentary procedure

The adviser for the Environment and Rural affairs, Begoña García, defended the need for this new regulation in the plenary session of the Assembly, because the current one is 25 years old. She stated that it will equip the Local Police with greater operability, efficiency and safety.

The future Local Police Coordination Law of Extremadura, which intends to respond to the needs of the department, went through its first parliamentary formality today in the Assembly of Extremadura, where the councillor asserted that all units will have the same amount of resources available.

Ciudadanos and Podemos show reluctance towards the free appointment of the Head of the Local Police by the mayor, if Partido Popular agrees with the measure.
