The Barcelona-based rock trio Mood visit our studios to present their first full-length album, "Electric Overdose," released recently on Ventilador Music ( www.ventilador-music.com ). Justin Coe talks to bandleader Timothy Moore (vocals and guitar) and drummer Stefan Häublein, who also sings backing vocals. The group's bass player, Pepe Carbó, also helps out on backing vocals, and while he couldn't be in Madrid for this interview he will be in the Spanish capital for Mood's Thursday concert at the Wurlitzer Ballroom. Also present in our studio is band manager Valentina Lattuada, who apart from making sure her musicians behave properly in Radio and Television interviews also appears in some of Mood's videos (check them out on Youtube). "Electric Overdose" is made up of 13 intelligent, appealing, and energetic songs by Moore. The album was recorded in a small Catalan studio and mastered in Nashville, and though they have yet to visit that famous music mecca in Tennessee, Mood have visited and performed in Brazil (Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo), Canada (Toronto) and across Europe (London, Dublin, Milan, Rome...). With their abundant talent and musical inventiveness, Mood are sure to win many fans on this visit to Madrid.
