The number of unemployed in Andalucía fell by 3,100 people in November, representing a drop of 3 tenths as compared with October. This leaves the current total number of unemployed people in Andalucía slightly above 850 thousand. The decrease in unemployment in November means that Andalucía has gained 71,200 fewer unemployed people over the last year. It is the Community in which it has fallen the most in absolute terms, in the number of people, but the least in percentage terms, standing at 7.7 percent.

November is traditionally a bad month for unemployment. However, in Andalucía, the number of unemployed people last month fell in all sectors, except in services, where it increased by 3,500. The sharpest decreases were in those without previous employment, that is, almost 2,500 fewer unemployed people, followed by Construction, Agriculture and Industry.
By provinces, unemployment in November fell mainly in Jaén (due to the olive-picking season), followed by Córdoba, Almería, Sevilla and Granada. Unemployment rose in Málaga in particular, standing at 4,500 more unemployed people, followed by Huelva and Cádiz. The average membership enrolled in Social Security increased in Andalucía by 11,800 employed people.
