750 homes are still without water in the Miraflores del Palo suburb of Málaga
The supply to the 750 homes in the Miraflores del Palo suburb of Málaga was cut off two nights ago after a spillage into the tank supplying them resulted in tap water being tainted with detergent. National Police are today questioning three people in connection with the spillage. Meanwhile, workmen are still trying to restore the supply as soon as possible.

Those responsible for the spillage are three people who were clearing out a lumber room at the property where the tank is located. National Police have identified them, but no arrests have been made.
Workers have been emptying pipes supplying homes with drinking water from the contaminated reservoir since the early hours of the morning. Meanwhile, the 750 families affected on this housing development in Málaga are getting by as best they can, now that the initial fright has abated. The water supply company anticipates re-connection today.
