The Andalusian budget for 2018 amounts to 34,759 million and public investment expenditure increases by 1.2%

This Tuesday, the Governing Council of the Regional Government of Andalusia approved the Draft Budget of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia for 2018, which amounts to 34,759 million euros, of which 30,628 million will be allocated to policy development, representing an increase of 3.9 per cent over 2017--.

According to the Minister of Finance and Public Administration, María Jesús Montero, this Tuesday, the Governing Council of the Regional Government of Andalusia approved the Draft Budget of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia for 2018, which amounts to 34,759 million euros, of which 30,628 million will be allocated to policy development, representing an increase of 3.9 per cent over 2017. Furthermore, public investment expenditure is increased by 1.2 per cent to 3.7 billion euros.

The budget, which will be submitted to the Andalusian Parliament for debate and approval, identifies ¿public service revitalization and job creation, as well as the recovery of rights¿ as its priorities.

In order to achieve these goals, public investment expenditure is increased by 1.2 per cent to 3.7 billion euros, representing 2.2 per cent of the regional Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
