Tenerife says `no¿ to the dumping of raw sewage
About 1,500 people took to the streets today in Santa Cruz de Tenerife to demand a solution to the dumping of untreated waste water along our coasts. It was a protest which brought together many social groups demanding immediate action.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife has said `enough!¿ to the dumping of untreated waste water in a protest which brought together many social groups, political parties and trade unions. Under the slogan `stop dumping¿, about 1,500 people are demanding that the government, the town hall of Tenerife and the city councils come up with an immediate solution to the immense damage being done to the marine ecosystem.
