25 years on since Expo 92, the Fundación Cajasol poses a question: entonces, ¡¿Éramos tan Modernos?!¿ (`Were we so Modern!?¿) That is the title of the collection on show in the Sala Murillo, in the heart of Seville. An exhibition that, from this historic event onwards, invites us to reflect on the concept of "modernity".

An exhibition that, from this historic event onwards, invites us to reflect on the concept of "modernity".
It is not a collection on Expo, but rather on what Expo is aimed at. It invites us to reflect on the modern influence that this milestone had on the city and the country. An iconic year; a key time. Back in 1992... "¡¿Éramos tan Modernos?!".
And to evoke the yearning of modernity, high-standing artists and emblematic works...
Expo, as a point of departure, delves into a complex concept - that of modernity. And it does so nostalgically, looking back in time, 25 years wiser.
