We slip into one of the shows. With "The seed"¿where even the hands themselves turn into puppets¿we're reminded that in order to harvest, one must sow. Today, the audience is made up of children from a school in Seville. . .

The La Canela Puppet Theatre Company¿composed of Argentinians established in Jaén¿are the creators. Now we go up to the stage to find out what¿s behind it. . .  For example, those fingers that turn into trees. . .

They're one of 33 companies¿of which 21 are Andalusian¿that have come to Seville this year. Puppets for children and for adults. And, in addition, three exhibitions. A benchmark Fair is already beginning to unfold.

37 years running have turned the event into one of the most long-lived of its category in Spain¿and a pioneer that has fostered a flourish of puppet theatre. Until the 27th of May, the magic. . . takes flight.
