This weekend, Coalición Canarias in Tenerife held its 4th island congress with just one candidate standing for the General Secretary role, Francisco Linares. At the congress, MP Ana Oramas ensured that she was appointed to the bank bailout committee of inquiry because "we are seen as balanced, non-sectarian" and we will not "cover up the scams of one side or the other".
