The Vargas family showed no doubt during their testimony via video conference during the trial for the 2011 fatal shooting in Mérida, in which two members of their extended family died and a pedestrian was wounded, affirming that the Montoya family shot "to kill" and not into the air, as they testified on Monday.
A protected witness and the Vargas family claim that on the night prior to the shooting, members of the Montoya family fired weapons in the street in their presence.
