Javier Cienfuegos, close to the Extremadura discus throw record
The thrower from Montijo wants to represent Extremadura in the Spanish Federations Championship, taking place in Ciudad Real in June.

Javier Cienfuegos threw 45.3 metres in his first attempt with the two-kilos discus in the Clubes League track in Cáceres, just three metres away from the Extremadura record.
The thrower will try again in June in the Spanish Federations Championship in Ciudad Real, where he will also try his hand at his natural discipline, hammerthowing.
