'De Fiestas por Extremadura', exhibition of photographs by Sebastián Martín
Sebastián Martín, a teacher from Brozas, fell in love with photography and traditional fiestas as a boy. These two passions have led him to visit most of Extremadura, and come together in this exhibition, open throughout April at the Assembly of Extremadura, with a selection from his personal collection reflecting the wealth of festive traditions in our region.

Sebastián Martín takes us on a journey through the region's fiestas without leaving the main courtyard of the regional Parliament, from the Jarramplas in Piornal to the Día de la Maza in Almoharín, the Maya in Valdeobispo, the Octava del Corpus in Peñalsordo, the Tiznotes in Santa Cruz de la Sierra or the feast of the Santa Cruz in Feria. 57 images representing the traditional culture of the towns and villages of Extremadura.
