Sea Rescue rescues 52 immigrants near the coast of Motril
Those rescued are 47 men and 5 women of Subsaharan origin who set sail from the Moroccan coasts. They have been transferred to the Port of Almería. All are in good condition.

The boat was located by a Sea Rescue helicopter 25 miles to the south of Motril (Grenada). The one who gave the alarm call was an NGO development worker. He notified others that the boat had set off from the Moroccan locality of Bouyafar. Sea Rescue then began to search for the boat.
