Ara Malikian, concert in the town of Medellín, Badajoz on 16 July
The famed Lebanese violinist will star in one of two concerts that will be held at the Roman theatre of Medellín this year, after having returned to the cultural stage in 2016. The organisation in charge is certain that it will put this small town in Badajoz on the national cultural map.
CONCIERTO MALIKIAN MEDELLIN
Javier Serrano
Ara Malikian is one of the most well-known and renowned violinists in the world. His life experience is forever shaped by him fleeing his native land, Lebanon, at the age of 15. The reason, war. From that point on he began a long period in which he travelled half the world, which comes through in his musical compositions, where his Armenian ancestry surfaces.
This summer he will take the stage in the town of Medellín, Badajoz to present his new tour, entitled 'The incredible history of the violin'. The setting, recently recovered for the cultural agenda, will certainly amplify the hypnotic trance that Malikian creates for the spectator with his music.
The concert will take place at 10 pm on Sunday, 16 July, and tickets will be on sale.
